Homebuyer Education Classes and Pre-Purchase Counseling
Homebuyer education classes and pre-purchase counseling help prepare the first-time homebuyer for the home purchase process and their responsibilities of homeownership.
Individual counseling is available and topics that are covered include a review of credit, credit repair, debt reduction, and current employment stability. CDC staff can assist a homebuyer in developing a personal home purchase plan. Fill out a pre-purchase counseling application and return to the CDC. Our staff will review the application and set-up a time to talk with you.
